Because some of my graduate students have graduation deadlines or some have time-sensitive samples to process, can student researchers follow the CDC guidelines and continue working in the labs? What is the graduate student recruitment policy in the scenario that they can not even work in the lab.? It is very hard to recruit especially in disciplines where lab work is the minimum requirement to move the program forward. FRF4272020

In terms of possible furloughs - how will that affect research effort especially in terms of AY effort on federal grants. I am concerned about including AY funding if a furlough hits and the remaining workload is not sufficient to be able to cover the effort promised.
